Hello, everyone! I’m Igor Gofman, serving as the treasurer and Fire Police Captain at Fleischmanns Fire Department.
In 2023, we faced a challenge after a major fire in the Village highlighted the urgent need for an additional tanker. Unfortunately, our financial limitations made it difficult to make the purchase without raising Village taxes. After speaking with fire department members from different areas, it became clear that many were struggling financially. This inspired me to come up with a plan to generate revenue for all fire departments without increasing taxes.
By creating an affiliate program with Amazon and promoting their products, we can collectively secure special grants to acquire necessary equipment nationwide.
